AlphaDrive Partners with Synapse International for Strategic Growth

AlphaDrive Co., Ltd., headquartered in Nagatacho, Chiyoda, has announced a significant step in its international business strategy by acquiring a capital stake in Synapse International Co., Ltd., a cross-border development company based in Jeju, South Korea. This partnership, which positions AlphaDrive as the first external shareholder of Synapse International, aims to strengthen their collaborative efforts in the Japan-Korea market and accelerate cross-border business ventures.

The announcement follows a strategic partnership initiated on July 4, 2025, which laid the groundwork for multiple product deployments across Japan and Korea. This investment not only signals a commitment to growth in the region but also capitalizes on Synapse International's vast domestic business network, making it an asset for the AlphaDrive Group.

Within this strategic framework, AlphaDrive and Synapse International are focused on creating a unified business entity that serves to bridge Japanese and Korean markets. This integration is set to foster more profound collaboration between the two companies, promoting joint ventures and enhancing connectivity for mutual benefits.

As part of this international rollout, AlphaDrive has launched an English version of its corporate website to better reach global partners and reinforce its commitment to providing information in English. The site aims to facilitate new partnerships and share updates on ongoing projects.

One of the inaugural projects stemming from this collaboration is with Taiga Global Inc., a green tech startup from South Korea that has recently been selected for Panasonic Electric Works Co.'s Accelerator Program 2025. Supported by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), this project is aimed at exploring B2B market opportunities for Taiga's innovative spatial greening solutions. Notably, Taiga's product, a sustainable moss known as 'mosslab,' fosters growth in environments devoid of water, light, or soil, and will be showcased at the Japan Home Show 2025 in November. This initiative has already attracted interest from numerous construction and engineering firms.

Furthermore, Taiga Global Inc. will partner with Panasonic Electric Works to develop new value propositions and accelerate actionable steps towards societal implementation of their technology during the co-creation period of the accelerator program.

Synapse International Co., Ltd., founded in July 2024, is a pioneering cross-border development company led by a remarkably young CEO, Minchan Lee, who acquired the qualification for university at the age of 17. The company aims to build a global network rooted in local values, starting from the complex cultural spaces in Jeju and operationalizing the 'Island Links Project' connecting islands in Korea, Okinawa, Taiwan, and Cebu. By leveraging its extensive network, Synapse International seeks to create significant social impact both locally and globally.
