On December 16, 2025, the Banking Academy of Vietnam (BAV) and Vantage Foundation officially established a strategic partnership through a signed memorandum of understanding during a ceremonial event held at the BAV headquarters in Hanoi. This collaboration aims to foster financial education initiatives that are crucial for developing skilled professionals in the financial sector.

The ceremony was attended by prominent leaders and representatives from both institutions. BAV was represented by Doctor Pham Thi Hoang Anh (Acting Rector), Doctor Nguyen Thanh Phuong (Vice Rector), Doctor Tran Viet Dung (Director of the Banking Research Institute), and Doctor Le Ngoc Thang (Head of Human Resources). From the Vantage Foundation, Mr. Adam Siew (Deputy Director for Business Development), Mr. Floyd Wang (Chief Representative in Vietnam), and Ms. Monica Wang (Head of Global Projects) were present to signify their commitment to this initiative.

The opening of the ceremony included a formal reception along with introductory videos that presented the missions and strengths of both institutions. These presentations successfully set the context for a partnership built on shared educational priorities, capacity-building, and sustainable human capital development.

Doctor Pham Thi Hoang Anh opened with a speech reaffirming BAV's dedication to working alongside international partners to enhance the academic and practical relevance of financial education. Following her address, Mr. Adam Siew highlighted the growing importance of education in preparing future talents for a data and technology-driven financial sector. He noted that education plays a crucial role in sustainable development, especially given the transformative impact of artificial intelligence and data analysis on financial decision-making.

Formalization of the Partnership


The highlight of the event was the ceremonial signing of the strategic cooperation agreement that solidifies the partnership between both institutions. This memorandum outlines the cooperative areas, including the joint development of educational programs, mobilization of international expertise and resources, and coordinated communication efforts to promote financial education.

The first program under this partnership is expected to be a one-day training workshop titled 'Financial Data Analysis and Decision-Making in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.' This program is tentatively scheduled for late February or early March 2026 and will take place at the Banking Academy in Hanoi, with opportunities for online participation from other cities. Participants will receive a completion certificate, and the program will also involve collaboration with several leading Vietnamese universities.

Conclusion of the Ceremony


The event concluded with a symbolic exchange of flowers and memorabilia, an official group photo, and networking opportunities among the representatives. It serves as an official announcement of the strategic partnership at this stage and does not include the immediate provision of courses, training implementations, or student activities.
