Caron Treatment Centers Launches New Outpatient Facility in Delray Beach to Enhance Addiction Care Access

Caron Treatment Centers, a distinguished nonprofit organization recognized globally for its dedication to addiction and behavioral healthcare, has announced the commencement of operations at its latest outpatient center located in Delray Beach, Florida. This new facility is now operational and is offering two essential programs: the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) geared towards adults aged 18 and above.

As part of Caron's strategic vision to enhance access to addiction treatment, this outpatient center is designed to serve those who do not require intensive residential treatment as well as individuals transitioning from higher levels of care. The opening of the new center signifies a pivotal development in Caron's commitment to expanding high-quality addiction treatment services within the local community.

Javier Ley, Caron's Executive Vice President for the Florida campus, expressed, "This new outpatient location represents an important milestone in our continued investment in South Florida. By expanding access to PHP and IOP services in a community-based setting, we're meeting people where they are—whether they are just beginning treatment or transitioning from residential care. This allows us to better serve individuals and families throughout Delray Beach and the surrounding areas."

This new Congress Avenue outpatient center complements Caron’s existing services in Florida, which include medical detoxification and residential care facilities like The Keele Medical Center. This expansion enhances Caron’s capacity to provide a comprehensive range of addiction treatment services that are in-network for patients, strengthening its presence in South Florida.

John Driscoll, the President and CEO of Caron Treatment Centers, added, "Our goal has always been to expand access to evidence-based, medically supervised care without compromising quality. We believe that opening this outpatient center is a significant step forward in making comprehensive, brain-based addiction treatment more accessible—particularly for individuals who can greatly benefit from structured clinical care while remaining connected to their daily lives and support systems."

The new outpatient center is staffed with a competent and multidisciplinary team, reflecting Caron’s commitment to a neurorestorative approach that integrates clinical excellence, medical oversight, and long-term recovery planning to foster sustainable outcomes for patients.

Caron’s in-network programs in Florida currently accept various insurance plans, including Florida Blue Cross (Lucet), Optum (United Behavioral Health), and Aetna, making treatment more accessible for a larger segment of the population.
