Meiji Chocolate Marks 100 Years with New Products
In 2026, Meiji Milk Chocolate will proudly celebrate its 100th anniversary, a milestone that the company is marking with the release of its new chocolate drinks:
Meiji Chocolate Drink and
Meiji Strawberry Chocolate Drink. These products are set to launch on October 27, 2026, available in select convenience stores and some online retailers, before their nationwide release on November 10, 2026. Notably, both drinks promise to deliver the rich, delightful taste of chocolate that fans have come to love.
The
Meiji Chocolate Drink offers a classic milk chocolate flavor, rich in creaminess, while the
Meiji Strawberry Chocolate Drink combines white chocolate with a refreshing strawberry taste. Each drink comes in a 210ml package, ideal for a quick indulgent break throughout the day, whether during work or in-between chores. The drinks are designed to provide a balance of flavors, boasting a satisfying texture with a refreshing finish that doesn’t linger too sweetly on the palate.
Alongside the drinks, Meiji will debut limited-edition products exclusively on Amazon.co.jp starting November 10, 2026. This includes the
Meiji Chocolate Drink Assorted Set, featuring 12 bottles—six of each flavor—and beautifully packaged products that evoke nostalgia with designs inspired by the brand's long-standing history.
One such nostalgic offering is the
100th Anniversary Limited Set, which showcases a replica of the original 1926 Meiji Milk Chocolate, along with various packaging designs that reflect the brand's evolution over the last century. The anticipated retail prices for these items are set to be reasonable, ensuring accessibility for all chocolate lovers.
