KidsChoice Secures Major Investment for Growth and Enhanced Therapy Services

KidsChoice Announces Majority Investment from Aquitaine Capital

In a significant boost to its operations, KidsChoice, a well-known provider of autism and pediatric therapy services based in Oklahoma, has recently secured a majority investment from Aquitaine Capital. This investment marks a pivotal moment for KidsChoice, allowing it to not only grow but also enhance its clinical excellence and support systems for both clinicians and families.

Aquitaine Capital, recognized as a women-owned private equity firm, brings vital capital and operational resources to KidsChoice. This partnership aims to improve the infrastructure associated with delivering quality care while also expanding access to vital services across Oklahoma and potentially beyond. As stated by Elizabeth Broomfield, Managing Partner of Aquitaine Capital, the goal is clear: to elevate KidsChoice as one of the premier therapy providers in the region.

The leadership structure of KidsChoice is also undergoing a transformation as part of this investment, with Amanda "Mandy" Ralston stepping in as the new Chief Executive Officer. Mandy is a seasoned professional in the field of autism therapy and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Alongside her, Nic Newton and Sierra Harrington will take on the roles of Co-Presidents. This new leadership aims to build upon KidsChoice's strong foundation while expanding its capabilities and reach.

The board will also see the inclusion of experienced members such as Dr. Joseph Cunningham, the former President of Blue Cross and Blue Shield across several states, and Kathleen Stengel, who brings over twenty years of experience in pediatric behavioral health. Their expertise is expected to provide invaluable insight as KidsChoice charts its new course for growth.

"To be one of the best therapy providers in Oklahoma, we'll need to support our clinicians and invest in consistent, ethical care for families," Broomfield emphasized. On the other end, Ralston remarked, "With Aquitaine's backing, we plan to grow thoughtfully, making care more accessible while improving the infrastructure essential for our teams to thrive."

Furthermore, KidsChoice plans to capitalize on this new partnership by focusing on far-reaching expansions that will include opening new clinics and strategically pursuing mergers and acquisitions. The organization is also looking to broaden its range of therapy services to include speech and occupational therapy, thereby enhancing the support offered to families.
