Tirol Chocolate's New Office in Akihabara
On February 14, 2026, the Tirol Chocolate Company, headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, will officially make its move to a new office located on the fifth floor of the Akihabara HF Building. This transition is particularly special as it coincides with Valentine's Day—a day synonymous with chocolate and celebration.
A New Concept: The 'Tirol Tour'
The new office is designed under the theme of the 'Tirol Tour.' It aims to be a living representation of the Tirol Chocolate brand, allowing stakeholders and visitors to embody the essence of the brand. At the entrance, there will be a shared space showcasing the brand's history, complete with historical packages and seasonal new product unveilings. Visitors can also explore cute Tirol-themed merchandise, adding to the playful and inviting atmosphere that captures the spirit of Tirol.
As you walk into the entrance, a massive TIROL logo patterned with dots—a design element from the popular coffee nougat—welcomes you. Beyond the entrance lies a corner dedicated to the history of Tirol Chocolate, offering displays of new products and a chance to delve into the rich history of the brand.
Exploring Historic Packaging Designs
The waiting area within the entrance will feature a wall that showcases 126 unique packaging designs that represent the brand since its inception in 1962. Each design reflects the philosophy of bringing joy to the world, allowing visitors to reminisce and immerse themselves in nostalgic memories.
The 'Tirol Room'—A Hub for Information Dissemination
The Tirol Room, a conference space equipped with a large screen and decorated with designs from popular Tirol products, will serve as a hub for real-time communication, including Instagram live sessions and interviews. This integrated space aims to strengthen interactions and showcase the Tirol brand creatively.
Expanding the Taste Development Laboratory
In a bid to enhance its product development capabilities, the taste development laboratory will be expanding significantly. Now 1.5 times larger, the lab will facilitate easier media collaborations and creative developments, ensuring the exploration of diverse and high-quality flavor combinations continues vigorously.
Past collaborative efforts include:
- - Original flavors developed with VTuber Yokato Maizuru in 2023.
- - A sauna-themed flavor for the Tokyo MX TV program featuring talent Takahashi from Savannah.
- - A donut-themed flavor development initiative with VTuber Omurice Shokudo in 2025.
Numerous filming projects have also emerged from the lab, showcasing the innovative efforts of the team.
