CES Power Expands Presence in Ireland with Three Strategic Acquisitions

CES Power Expands Its Reach in Ireland with Strategic Acquisitions

In an ambitious step to strengthen its footprint in the European market, CES Power, a premier provider of infrastructure solutions for live events, announced the completion of three significant acquisitions in Ireland. The company has incorporated GH Energy Rental Ltd, Event Power, and Purecore into its growing portfolio, bolstering its operational capabilities in providing power solutions across various sectors, including entertainment and industry.

This strategic move is part of CES Power's ongoing efforts to expand its services beyond the UK, particularly in the dynamic Irish market. The combination of these three firms will amplify CES Power's already robust fleet of generators, lighting towers, transformers, and power management systems. This acquisition positions the company as having the largest power fleet in the UK and Ireland, enhancing its ability to manage complex, multi-site projects effectively.

The New Players on Board

GH Energy Rental, located in Dublin, along with Event Power and Purecore, based in Portlaoise, excels in temporary power generation and distribution tailored for live events, broadcasting, and industrial applications throughout Ireland. The integration of these companies will significantly increase CES Power's manpower and technical expertise, enabling the firm to deliver scalable and efficient solutions to its clientele.

Ailsa Webb, Division President for UK and Europe at CES Power, expressed enthusiasm about these acquisitions: "We have ambitious plans to continue growing our presence across the UK and Europe, and these acquisitions are crucial for scaling up our capabilities in Ireland. Each of these businesses has earned a stellar reputation and has established long-standing relationships with customers. Holding on to the founders in leadership roles will ensure a smooth transition for clients and an efficient merger of operations. Their specialized knowledge and high-quality equipment align perfectly with our strategy to provide engineering-led temporary power solutions at scale."

Continued Growth and Future Plans

The CEO of CES Power, Jordan Reber, echoed similar sentiments, highlighting that these acquisitions will not only solidify their position in Ireland but also enhance support for clients working across borders. "The expertise these companies bring to our table will aid Ailsa and her team as they navigate the growing demand and opportunities across Ireland," said Reber.

Since being acquired by Allied Industrial Partners in June 2021, CES Power has pursued growth aggressively, completing a total of 16 acquisitions. The company's strategic outlook indicates a continued pursuit of further add-on acquisitions that align with their interests and growth trajectory.

Bradford Rossi and Philip Wright, Co-Founders of Allied, shared their optimism about CES Power's expansion, stating, "We are thrilled to support CES Power in fortifying its presence in the UK, Ireland, and Europe. This region remains pivotal for CES Power's growth, and we foresee additional opportunities to enhance our footprint through both organic growth and future acquisitions."
