Wienerschnitzel to Expand Its Footprint with New Location in Waco, Texas

Wienerschnitzel Arrives in Waco, Texas

Waco, Texas - Wienerschnitzel, a well-known name in American fast food, is making a much-anticipated return to Waco with the grand opening of its new restaurant at 305 S. Valley Mills Dr. The opening date is slated for December 3, 2025, marking a significant moment as this is the first time Wienerschnitzel has been in Waco since 2009. This location will be the 48th in Texas, demonstrating the brand's ongoing growth in the state and across the country.

Local entrepreneur Brett Swartz, a Baylor University graduate, will manage the new restaurant. Swartz is no stranger to the Waco business scene, having led previous successful ventures such as the popular Slow Rise Slice House. His wealth of experience in hospitality indicates a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service at this new Wienerschnitzel location.

"The community is very excited for us to open up, and it has been a long time coming," Swartz said. "Wienerschnitzel has been a beloved choice in Texas, and we aim to deliver the same quality menu and friendly service that our customers remember. We want to create a space where families and friends can come together to enjoy a satisfying meal in a fun atmosphere."

Wienerschnitzel's menu is a delightful mix of classic American fast food. Expect to see fan-favorites such as the Chili Cheese Dog, Junkyard Dog, and Chili Cheese Fries on offer. Sweet treats from the Tastee Freez® dessert line will also be available, with items like dipped cones and shakes featuring seasonal favorites such as Hostess Ding Dongs and Twinkies. He added, "Our goal is to become a part of the daily lives of residents in Waco, welcoming everyone from students to families and visitors into our restaurant."

Ted Milburn, the Director of U.S. Franchise Development for Wienerschnitzel, shared his enthusiasm about the Waco opening, stating, "This is a key milestone in our growth plans for Texas. Brett has deep roots in the Waco community, and we believe he will help establish it as one of our strongest locations."

To enhance customer convenience, the Waco restaurant will feature drive-thru service, along with options for online ordering and delivery, commencing in January 2026. Customers can place their orders at Wienerschnitzel's online site.
