Hotto Motto's New Product Launch Event
On October 6, 2023, Hotto Motto, a popular takeaway bento brand operated by Plenus Co., Ltd., hosted an exciting product launch event at their headquarters. This event not only introduced their new menu items for October but also included a special appearance by the guest athlete, Haruka Kitagawa, who is known for her exceptional talent in women's javelin throw.
With a total of 2,426 locations across Japan as of September 2025, Hotto Motto is committed to providing delicious takeout meals. Their official social media channels on X and Instagram have been actively engaging customers with information about new products and promotions.
Event Highlights
The event started promptly at 12:30 PM, lasting until 1:20 PM. Attendees were treated to insights about Hotto Motto's newest offerings, including a sneak peek at their latest TV commercial. The atmosphere was vibrant as Haruka Kitagawa took the stage not just to discuss her athletic journey but to also share fun anecdotes from the commercial shoot and her personal experiences.
One of the highlights of the event was a lively flip talk with Hotto Motto’s official character, “Hatto Motto,” followed by a taste test of the new dishes. Haruka shared her enthusiasm for the new products, describing her favorite, the Chicken Nanban Special Sports Bento, as a delightful and energizing meal that she hopes everyone will enjoy.
“The commercial shoot was a little nerve-wracking at first, but I had so much fun working with the students who helped me. They made the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. When asked about my favorite side dish, I replied with my true favorite, which they turned into the Chicken Nanban Special Sports Bento. It’s such an exciting meal for me, and I want everyone to eat it and feel invigorated,” she said.
As for her future aspirations, Haruka is looking to continue her journey in sports, striving to be the best in the world as she prepares for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics.
