The "Experience Niigata's Delicacies! Guaranteed Prizes with the Online Gacha" project is set to launch in July 2025, aiming to bridge agriculture and entertainment in the region. Sponsored by JA Niigata Kagayaki, a local agricultural cooperative led by Chairman Shinobu Ono, this initiative collaborates with Japan Toreca Center, a Tokyo-based company run by CEO Keisuke Fukumura.

Project Overview

Starting in mid-July 2025, this project will host an engaging online gacha through Japan Toreca Center's entertainment e-commerce platform. Unlike typical sales, this initiative invites newcomers, particularly the younger generations, to discover and relish the unique food culture and agricultural products that Niigata proudly offers.

The online gacha will feature a variety of Niigata-produced agricultural products and aims not only to entertain but also to expand recognition of the local food culture. The pièce de résistance? Participants can win up to one million yen worth of coupons that can be redeemed at the "Niigata Gotsu Sanchoku Bin" online shop, dedicated to local delicacies like rice, seasonal vegetables, and fruits.

Features and Participation

To encourage participation, the gacha is designed to allow players to join using just one point per round, with the guarantee of winning at least one point each time they play. This format is intended to create a fun and stress-free environment where participants can explore the essence of Niigata agriculture through playful interaction.

By introducing the elements of gaming into the traditional model of sales, this initiative seeks to make the process enjoyable for all, all while promoting the rich agricultural landscape of Niigata.

Collaboration Details

The project will be held from July to August 2025, specifically from the 18th to the 20th, at various times each month on dates that include the number 8. The kick-off event is scheduled to begin on July 18, 2025, at 18:00, running until July 20, 2025, at 23:59.
