From April 13 to May 31, 2026, the Tokyo Prince Hotel will host the "Meigyuu Fair: A Journey Through Japanese Gastronomy in Fukuoka Spring" across its three restaurants. This event serves as a perfect introduction to the gourmet delicacies of Fukuoka, one of Japan’s most renowned culinary hubs, right in the heart of Tokyo.

Thanks to the collaboration with the Fukuoka Prefecture Agricultural and Fishery Products Branding Promotion Council, this fair showcases the exquisite flavors of Fukuoka. Showcasing local ingredients and traditional recipes, this culinary fair places emphasis on the region's prized beef, the Hakata Beef. It promises an enticing blend of flavors and experiences that fans of Japanese cuisine will not want to miss.

Highlights of the Fair



Guests can indulge in a range of specialties, including dishes that celebrate Fukuoka’s rich agricultural bounty.

  • - Japanese Cuisine Shimizu offers a lunch option featuring the exquisite "Hakata Beef Sukiyaki Set," made with high-quality Hakata Beef cooked in a fragrant broth that enhances its tender, subtly sweet flavors. Join us for dinner and experience the luxurious Hakata Beef Sukiyaki again as the centerpiece of a traditional kaiseki meal.
- Lunch: Hakata Beef Sukiyaki Set - ¥6,000 per person.
- Dinner: Shimizu Kaiseki – Fukuoka Spring Bounty - ¥16,000 per person.

  • - At Chinese Restaurant Manro Nitten, guests can enjoy an à la carte menu featuring three distinct dishes made with Hakata Beef Sirloin. Relish the beef in different sauces, allowing its unique flavors to shine through.
- Dinner: Ruri Karakusa Course - ¥15,000 per person.
- A la Carte: Hakata Beef Sirloin (Each ¥6,000) featuring dishes like stir-fry in oyster sauce or hot pot with spicy sweet vinegar sauce.

  • - Finally, Buffet Dining Porto will feature a wide variety of Fukuoka's famous dishes, including Hakata Jidori Chicken, Itoshima Pork, and the beloved Motsunabe – a must-try local specialty. Enjoy a lavish buffet with family and friends, filled with dishes that satisfy every palate.
- Lunch Buffet: Weekdays - ¥5,500 / weekends - ¥6,500.
- Dinner Buffet: Weekdays - ¥7,500 / weekends - ¥8,500.

Desserts include a delicious Amaou puree dessert and Yame Matcha roll cakes. Don’t miss the signature Mont-Blanc dessert, made with fresh Yame Matcha cream.
