MGM Grand Completes $300 Million Room and Suite Remodel

MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas has officially revealed a breathtaking transformation worth $300 million, introducing a new collection of 3,969 renovated rooms and suites. This significant upgrade marks a bold step into a new era of hospitality in one of the world's most famous destinations.

The remodel was designed in collaboration with the renowned global architecture firm Gensler and reflects a striking contemporary aesthetic while still paying homage to the vibrant essence of Las Vegas. Inspired by the glamour of the disco era, the new design infuses luxury and modern comfort into the guest experience. According to Mike Neubecker, President and COO of MGM Grand, this renovation was directly influenced by guest feedback to create spaces that cater to both leisure and business travelers alike.

Highlights of the Renovation

The new accommodations boast sophisticated Interiors that feature:

- Spa-like walk-in showers with sleek glass enclosures and bright porcelain finishes in the bathrooms.
- Enhanced storage solutions with integrated, illuminated closets, designed for convenience.
- Blackout drapery that guarantees a restful night’s sleep.
- Wall-mounted Smart TVs, freeing up table space, alongside upgraded minibar units complemented with separate guest-use refrigerators.

The design embraces the fun spirit of the disco era, showcasing bold artwork and unique patterns throughout the rooms. Full of flair, the MGM King rooms are adorned with rich walnut finishes, while the MGM Two Queen rooms incorporate soft gray stone elements and tailored headboards. Modern technology and comfort are at the forefront, with charging stations featuring USB ports and traditional power outlets on both sides of the bed.

In addition to the room renovations, MGM Grand has expanded its suite offerings by adding 111 new suites, bringing the total to an impressive 753. Each suite ranges from 675 to 1,784 square feet and features refined finishes and redesigned layouts that enhance both privacy and versatility for guests. Newly reimagined suite bathrooms elevate the experience with double mirrors, quartz benches, and upgraded showers.
