The event, which took place during the IP Gala summit themed "Next-Generation WAN, Boosting New Growth for Carriers," saw participation from significant industry players including the WBBA and influential carriers. This initiative aims to set a strategic roadmap for the development of target IP networks designed for 2030, ultimately assisting carriers in creating expansive and secure networks that ensure excellent user experiences while maximizing revenue and elevating operational efficiencies.

At the summit, discussions revolved around essential themes such as multi-dimensional awareness, security resilience, and network autonomy. These dialogues are pivotal in propelling the evolution of IP bearer networks toward what is being termed as Net5.5G. John Cai, the President of Router Domain in Huawei's Data Communication Product Line, emphasized that constructing NG WANs requires a focus on three vital pillars: security resilience, multi-dimensional awareness, and network autonomy.
