As the year comes to a close, Yamashita Honki Udon, operated by Garden Co., Ltd., is set to introduce two exclusive New Year dishes to ring in 2026. From December 27 to December 31, customers can enjoy the “New Year Ebi Tempura Udon”, followed by the “New Year Celebration Special Ebi Tempura Udon” available from January 1 to January 4.

This luxurious dish features a crispy, oversized ebi tempura atop a bowl of udon. The long and thick udon symbolizes longevity and continuous happiness, making it a perfect choice for a joyful end to the year. With a price of 1,255 yen (tax included: 1,380 yen), this dish will be available at all Yamashita Honki Udon locations during the designated period.

New Year Celebration Special Ebi Tempura Udon

Just like its predecessor, this dish is also adorned with a deliciously crispy ebi tempura. It serves as a perfect culinary delight for welcoming a prosperous new year. Priced similarly at 1,255 yen (tax included: 1,380 yen), it will be available at the same locations from January 1 to January 4.

Both dishes promise a delightful dining experience and are crafted to uplift the spirit during the festive season.

About Yamashita Honki Udon

Founded in 2012 by Mr. Yamashita in proximity to Meguro Station, Yamashita Honki Udon is a dedicated Sanuki udon restaurant known for its authentic and meticulous recipes. Following a licensing agreement in June 2017, the brand was revitalized with a focus on quality. The udon is made using carefully selected wheat, and it is crafted and aged in-house, resulting in a robust and chewy texture. The broth is made from kombu and bonito, seasoned perfectly with premium soy sauce. In the evening, guests can unwind and enjoy alcoholic beverages, enhancing the dining experience.
