CoreWeave Welcomes Corey Sanders as New Senior Vice President of Strategy

CoreWeave, known as the AI Hyperscaler™, recently announced an exciting development by appointing Corey Sanders as its Senior Vice President of Strategy. This significant hiring is set to bolster CoreWeave's strategic initiatives as it navigates the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence (AI).

In his new role, Sanders will be instrumental in leading efforts to scale innovation, enhance market leadership, and collaborate with clients to provide customized solutions that align with CoreWeave's commitment to driving sustainable growth in AI. His extensive experience in the tech industry, particularly in cloud computing, positions him well to contribute to CoreWeave's mission.

Before his tenure at CoreWeave, Sanders dedicated two decades to Microsoft, with his most recent role being Corporate Vice President of the Cloud for Industry business. Here, he was charged with overseeing the delivery of specialized cloud solutions aimed at enhancing customer experiences. His career at Microsoft also included significant leadership roles where he shaped sales strategies across various areas, implementing solutions like Azure Data and AI, Cybersecurity, and Modern Workplace, among others. Notably, Sanders was pivotal in establishing the Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) business, where he directed strategies and product developments for core Azure compute services.
