Matt DePaolis Takes Leadership Role at RapidWorks
A New Era Begins
RapidWorks, a leader in field management solutions for heavy construction, is entering an exciting new phase of growth with the appointment of Matt DePaolis as President. This strategic move aligns with the company’s aim to dominate the rapidly evolving heavy equipment sector. With an increasing demand for advanced technologies and services, RapidWorks is focusing on enhancing its product offerings under the seasoned leadership of DePaolis.
Strategic Expansion
In a statement regarding the appointment, Tim Curran, CEO of RapidWorks, said, "With RapidWorks growing faster than ever, now is the right time to expand our executive team." Curran highlighted DePaolis' unique blend of deep industry experience and proven SaaS leadership, positioning him as the ideal choice to steer the company toward successful innovation and exceptional customer service. The leadership transition follows RapidWorks’ recent acquisition of CRO Software, enhancing the company's capabilities in the waste management space—a critical aspect of construction machinery services.
A Robust Background
Matt DePaolis brings a wealth of experience starting from his roots as a software engineer. He transitioned to fieldwork as a general contractor, allowing him to gain firsthand insight into the challenges faced by contractors today. This unique perspective motivated him to explore technological solutions aimed at alleviating these issues. His previous work at Vela Systems—pioneers in construction field management software, eventually acquired by Autodesk—demonstrated his understanding of how tailored technology can modernize traditional construction processes.
Most recently, DePaolis led Repsly, a successful retail SaaS enterprise where he bolstered product innovation and operational execution, ultimately facilitating a dramatic growth phase culminating in the business's acquisition by Cuadrilla Capital earlier this year.
In his words, "I'm thrilled to join RapidWorks at such an exciting time. My years as a contractor give me a deep appreciation for the daily challenges our customers face." His focus on developing solutions that enhance efficiency and profitability for construction service providers events the company's commitment to supporting their operational needs effectively.
Vision for the Future
Looking forward, the addition of DePaolis comes as RapidWorks aims to accelerate its market outreach following the integration of CRO Software. This strategic acquisition underscores the company’s commitment to expand its footprint across multiple verticals, including concrete pumping, crane services, and waste management services.
Tim Curran emphasized, "In my two years as CEO of RapidWorks, we have tripled in size. Adding Matt's leadership is another key step in scaling RapidWorks to meet the needs of our growing customer base." This unity of company vision and enhanced leadership signals a strong upcoming phase of product development and service enhancement.
