Launching the Buffaloes Pon-ta Cafe Project!

The company behind the common point service "Ponta," Loyalty Marketing Inc. (based in Shibuya, Tokyo, led by President Fumihiko Katsu), has been a proud sponsor of the Orix Buffaloes since the 2016 season and will continue to support them as a uniform pants sponsor in the 2025 season. This July, they are excited to announce the launch of a crowdfunding initiative to bring fans together for an unforgettable experience!

Scheduled to run from July 15 to August 31, 2025, the crowdfunding campaign is all about creating the "Buffaloes Pon-ta Cafe" and setting up a giant 2.2-meter object to rally support for the Buffaloes. The goal is set in three stages, with the first target being 5 million yen, the second at 8 million yen, and the third at 13 million yen.

The first target of 5 million yen will cover the basic establishment of the Buffaloes Pon-ta Cafe, ensuring that it’s up and running for fans to enjoy. Upon reaching the second milestone of 8 million yen, the cafe will not only be operational but also enhanced with upgraded decorations and more appearances from Buffaloes Pon-ta during the event days, making it a vibrant place for fans to gather like never before.

In case the first target isn’t fully met, all backers will still receive thank-you gifts, and the cafe will still open. Hitting the ambitious third goal of 13 million yen will enable the installation of the giant Buffaloes Pon-ta object at Kyocera Dome Osaka during one of the open matches in 2026, creating an even greater spectacle.

Backers will receive exclusive "Kachi-kon" themed Buffaloes Pon-ta merchandise as part of the thank-you gifts, which are sure to be a hit among fans.
