Tequila Don Gato Debuts in Chicago with Some Help from Danny McBride

With National Tequila Day on the horizon, tequila lovers have reason to celebrate as Tequila Don Gato makes its much-anticipated entry into Chicago. This arrival is not only about bringing a delightful spirit but also offers a unique connection through Hollywood star, Danny McBride.

Don Gato, recognised as a legendary luchador, is also becoming famous for his premium tequila, and McBride has taken on the role of an ambassador for this beloved Mexican libation. The actor spent considerable time in Mexico, delving into the lore of Don Gato and discovering the artistry behind his tequila. This endeavor has led to a creative series showcasing the legend's adventures and affinity for good times, directed by his friend David Gordon Green, known for popular films like Pineapple Express and Halloween.

McBride shared his delight: “While I was filming Don Gato and having cool times, I discovered the best additive-free tequila I've ever had. This is my way of paying homage to Don Gato and the incredible tequila he creates.”

Tequila Don Gato has impressed critics with its dedication to quality. The tequila is crafted from 100% blue agave, sourced from the Jalisco region of Mexico. The Blanco expression is priced at $39.99, while the Reposado variation can be found for $44.99. Both varieties have been recognised in various competitions, with accolades including a gold medal at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition for the Blanco and a 95-point rating for the Reposado by the 2024 New York International Spirits Competition. Bottle Raiders also named Don Gato among the
