Sebastian, the owner of Private Gym SEBAS, arrived in Japan from Argentina several years ago. His journey into fitness began at the tender age of 15 when he frequented a gym, initially facing insecurity and skepticism. Yet, the warm and passionate community in Argentina nurtured his aspirations. This pivotal experience paved the path for him to become a physical trainer and coach for children’s baseball and soccer.

Upon arriving in Japan, Sebastian recognized the disciplined rigor in local gyms but noticed a lack of warmth and adaptability. This sparked his desire to create a unique space where individualized support thrives, leading to the inception of SEBAS.

“At SEBAS, we aim to balance strength training and Pilates through our proprietary hybrid method, focusing on posture improvement, muscle growth, and overall well-being,” says Sebastian.

The Hybrid Session utilizes machines and dumbbells to target major muscle groups (outer muscles) while also emphasizing Pilates techniques that activate deep-seated muscles (inner muscles).
