Capital Square's Leadership Evolution: Chris Hirth's Promotion

Capital Square, recognized as a leading player in tax-advantaged real estate investments, has made headlines with the promotion of Chris Hirth to the role of Executive Vice President of Asset Management. This announcement, made on December 12, 2024, signifies not only a career milestone for Hirth but also a strategic move for Capital Square as it continues to expand and enhance its operations.

Hirth's journey with Capital Square began in 2016 when he joined as an asset manager. Over the years, he has demonstrated exceptional skills in managing and improving real estate portfolios. His transition to Vice President of Asset Management in 2020 further solidified his capabilities and contributions to the company's growth. With a diverse portfolio valued at over $6 billion, his responsibilities now include overseeing a wide range of asset management tasks, including financial performance, capital project management, commercial leasing, and property dispositions.

Louis Rogers, the founder and co-CEO of Capital Square, emphasized Hirth's invaluable presence within the company. Rogers stated, "Chris Hirth has grown with Capital Square over the past eight years to become an exceptional leader who has been an important part of our success." Hirth’s accomplishments are echoed in his instrumental role in achieving the Accredited Management Organization (AMO®) designation for Capital Square's asset management team. This prestigious designation confirms the department's commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client service in the real estate industry.

The asset management department operates a diverse portfolio that includes 137 properties across the United States, featuring multifamily housing, built-for-rent communities, age-restricted manufactured housing communities, medical office buildings, as well as retail and industrial assets. These properties are primarily located in the Sun Belt, an area recognized for its economic growth and dynamic real estate market.

Before his tenure at Capital Square, Hirth served as a senior real estate manager at CBRE, a global leader in commercial real estate services, where he managed an extensive portfolio of office and flex properties totaling one million square feet. In addition, he gained valuable experience during his four-year position at PRG Real Estate, where he supervised multifamily properties.

Hirth's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in business management from Virginia Tech, along with prestigious certifications such as the Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and the Certified Property Manager® credential from the Institute of Real Estate Management.

As he steps into his new role, Hirth is poised to facilitate growth within Capital Square's vertically integrated real estate platform. His leadership is expected to carry the firm forward, expanding its portfolio and driving continued success. This strategic promotion emphasizes Capital Square's commitment to excellence in real estate, aiming to provide exceptional value to investors nationwide.
