Dive into the Marine World at Kobe Suma Sea World
Kobe Suma Sea World, operated by Granvista Hotel & Resort, invites families to participate in an enriching educational program titled
'Ikimono Suma Sea School'. Scheduled from
January to March 2026, this unique initiative aims to educate young participants about marine life, particularly
orcas and
Magellanic penguins. Under the supervision of qualified trainers, children will have the opportunity to observe orcas up close and learn about the characteristics and breeding of Magellanic penguins.
Understanding Marine Life
The program includes detailed lectures focusing on orcas and penguins, where participants will gain insights into their natural habitats and behaviors. The engagement doesn’t stop there; children will also interact with exhibits that showcase preserved specimens, enhancing their hands-on learning experience.
Creative Hands-on Activity
To make the learning journey even more memorable, the program concludes with a sand art creation activity. This fun craft allows participants to bring home a piece of their experience, visually representing what they've learned during the sessions. It's not just educational; it's a creative outlet for children to express their understanding of marine creatures.
