Dentsu Research Launches Latest Versions of Ci*X Series Solutions

Dentsu Research Unveils Enhanced CiX Series Products

On April 17, 2025, Dentsu Research, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, officially launched the latest versions of its Ci
X series products, which include the expense management system "CiX Expense," the universal workflow system "CiX Workflow," and the group consolidation accounting system "CiX Financials." These upgrades aim to significantly improve operational efficiencies in corporate accounting functions.

Key Enhancements in CiX Expense Ver.3.4

The latest update to the expense management system, CiX Expense Ver.3.4, incorporates robust functionalities tailored for corporate groups. Notable enhancements include:

1. Integration with JTB BizVance Travel Reservation: This new feature allows users to seamlessly connect with JTB’s travel booking solutions, enabling one-click access to make travel arrangements directly from the Ci
X Expense platform. Furthermore, details from completed bookings automatically populate expense reports, reducing manual entry efforts for users when submitting expense claims.
2. Dynamic Input Visibility: The system now showcases input fields dynamically, contingent on the values entered. This feature significantly minimizes the risk of errors and streamlines the submission process by only displaying necessary fields based on the company's regulations.

Key Enhancements in CiX Workflow Ver.2.4

Dentsu has also rolled out updates for the Ci
X Workflow system, designed to support various application and reporting processes across HR and general affairs. Important new functionalities include:

1. Customizable Input Rules: Administrators can now set rules for input values, helping to decrease the workload on approvers and reducing the instances of document resubmission—ultimately optimizing workflow efficiency.
2. CSV Import Feature: Workflow now supports bulk importing of application data via CSV files, simplifying the submission of extensive applications or those submitted on behalf of multiple individuals.

Key Enhancements in CiX Financials Ver.2.2

The accounting system, Ci
X Financials, also sees significant upgrades with its latest version. Key improvements are:

1. Environment Copy Functionality for Reports: Users can now transfer report definitions effortlessly between testing and production environments, eliminating the tedious task of recreating reports and helping to manage system operational loads better.
2. Warning Display on Voucher Approval: The system is redesigned to present warnings during voucher approvals, ensuring approvers are informed of any issues prior to confirmation, which can help reduce errors in financial transactions.

Dentsu Research is committed to further enriching the CiX series solutions and supporting enterprises in their digital transformation journeys within accounting and finance.
