Desay Battery Showcases Innovations at The Smarter E Europe 2025
From May 7 to 9, 2025, at The Smarter E Europe 2025 in Munich, Germany, Desay Battery, a global leader in energy storage solutions, introduced a range of innovative products designed to transform energy storage in various sectors. The exhibit highlighted the company’s commitment to advancing sustainable energy technologies and reinforcing its position in the energy storage market.
One of the key highlights was the introduction of the UPS 2.0, an innovative uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system aimed at data centers, large enterprise IT departments, and telecommunications service providers. The UPS 2.0 features a single lithium-ion block supporting 300 kVA, engineered for a lifespan of up to 15 years, significantly reducing project costs while ensuring compatibility with existing systems. Its real-time monitoring system provides operators with the ability to oversee battery health and conduct preventive maintenance efficiently. Additionally, it includes enhanced safety measures such as an optional early fire detection feature and access to a cloud-based safety management platform.
Following the production launch of UPS 2.0, Desay Battery signed a strategic agreement with TÜV Rheinland to accelerate its market presence in Europe, including compliance certification for the UPS 2.0 and a 5 MWh container energy storage solution meeting EU standards. This partnership aims to facilitate Desay’s expansion within the European market, reinforcing its commitment to high safety and environmental standards.
In addition to its collaboration with TÜV Rheinland, Desay Battery entered a framework agreement with DOS Primärenergie Sonne GmbH, securing a partnership for 2 GW that aims to expand collaboration in renewable energy across the Middle East and Latin America. This strategic engagement emphasizes Desay’s role in the global energy storage supply chain and establishes a replicable model for energy transition in Gulf countries. Desay Battery’s initiatives underscore its dedication to fostering international development and promoting environmentally friendly energy solutions through technological advancements and cross-border partnerships.
At the exhibition, Desay Battery also displayed new products, including high-performance lithium-ion cells (DLP-100, DLP-280, DLP-314), sodium-ion batteries (DSP-60), and modular energy storage systems. Notable energy storage cabinets showcased included the Lumos series (215 kWh and 344 kWh), as well as residential ESS solutions ranging from 10-25 kWh and 21 kWh variants. A standout was the Vita 5 MWh Utility ESS featuring liquid cooling battery cabinets.
Recently, Desay Battery was recognized as a Tier 1 energy storage supplier by BloombergNEF for Q2 2025. Looking ahead, the company intends to further broaden its reach in the global energy storage market, continuing its investment in R&D to meet the growing demand for clean energy solutions.
