As the temperature soars during the summer months, outdoor activities for children often take a backseat due to the heat. This is where SBI Insurance comes in, sponsoring the SBI Insurance Presents Special Summer Skate Classes at the Meiji Jingu Gaien Ice Skating Rink in Tokyo. This initiative is designed to provide children with a safe and enjoyable way to engage in physical activity over the summer break.

During the program, 400 children will get the opportunity to learn the basics of skating from experienced instructors while also experiencing the joy of trying something new. The classes will take place over two days, providing a comprehensive learning experience.

Event Details

Course Schedules

• - Course A: July 22 (Wednesday), July 23 (Thursday) from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
• - Course B: August 5 (Wednesday), August 6 (Thursday) from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Following each session, participants can enjoy general skating starting from 1:00 PM.

Eligibility

• - Age Requirement: 4 years and older
• - Participation Fee: ¥6,700 (Includes rental skates and tax)
• - Class Capacity: 200 participants per course (Total of 400 participants)

Application Period

• - Open from June 22, 2026, until two days prior to the course date or until filled.

Registration

• - Interested participants can register online at Meiji Jingu Gaien Ice Skating.

Bonus Offers

Participants will receive pair skating tickets for 400 pairs (800 individuals), allowing them to enjoy skating with family members after the class. This initiative aims to foster bonding through recreational activities and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Ticket Giveaway Campaign

In addition to the skills taught in the classes, SBI Insurance aims to strengthen family communication and encourage healthy habits by giving away pairs of skating tickets to 100 families (200 individual tickets).
