Global Promotional Campaign Launched for the 8th China International Import Expo

Global Promotion for the 8th CIIE

The China International Import Expo (CIIE) is returning with a grand outlook, following the triumphant success of its 7th edition. As preparations ramp up for the upcoming 8th CIIE scheduled for 2025, the CIIE Bureau is taking significant measures to promote the event on a global scale. The initiative aims to facilitate deeper market integration for companies looking to establish themselves in the robust Chinese market.

Global Itinerary Kickoff

As part of the promotional activities, Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands have been selected as the initial stops on the campaign trail. Events promoting the CIIE were recently organized in Denmark at Dansk Industri and in Germany at Yu Garden, Hamburg. The outreach does not stop here, as a working meeting is scheduled to take place in Tilburg, Netherlands. These promotional events are crucial for showcasing the myriad opportunities available for international companies eager to connect with China’s vast market.

Highlights from the 7th CIIE

At the 7th CIIE held in 2023, German companies claimed a substantial presence, with an impressive exhibition area of over 26,000 square meters. Key industry players such as Heraeus, SCHOTT, and Merck left a lasting impression at the expo, particularly in the emerging materials zone, demonstrating cutting-edge technologies and high-quality materials.

Danish innovation stood out as well, especially in green technologies and solutions. Organized by Dansk Industri, the two themed booths at the expo highlighted the biological sciences, health, and nutrition sectors, showcasing 18 renowned brands that presented appealing products and innovative solutions.

Moreover, the Netherlands showcased their prowess in various sectors including agriculture, consumer goods, semiconductors, and healthcare. Significant contributors to this initiative were major Dutch brands like ASML and Philips, along with active participation from SMEs and innovative startups, particularly those focused on dairy farming.

The Potential of the Chinese Market

The promotional events underscored the vast potential the Chinese market holds for businesses from Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands. A recent media coverage report on the 7th CIIE has also highlighted the international impact of the expo, emphasizing its unique openness, rich variety, fruitful collaborations, and effective communication across multiple platforms. This strong international presence is pivotal as businesses look to explore and capitalize on the Chinese market.
