Founded in 2019 as a solar and battery installation company, Monalee has now evolved into Artemis, a name inspired by the twin sister of Apollo and the protector of the earth. "We wanted a name that reflects our commitment to harnessing solar energy and modernizing the power grid," said Walid Halty, co-founder and CEO. With the rebranding is expected to signal a shift from a construction-oriented business model to a digital platform that empowers energy installers.

Artemis aims to eliminate the complexities involved in residential solar, battery, and home energy projects that often take days to quote and fulfill. By integrating design, financing, and compliance into a single, user-friendly system, Artemis has managed to reduce cycle times from days to mere seconds. According to customer feedback, companies are seeing a remarkable 72% drop in software expenses and a 98% increase in turnaround speed, translating to conversion rates five times higher than traditional methods.

As part of their growth strategy, Artemis has appointed Alexander Urban as the Chief Financial Officer. Urban brings over a decade of experience from Shell, where he worked in Trading and Venture Capital, managing substantial investments in the energy sector.

Together with Copec WIND Ventures, Artemis is launching pilot programs across residential networks in Chile and Colombia, aiming to digitize distributed energy workflows for faster and more streamlined operations.
