The 19th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, also referred to as Auto China 2026, commenced with high anticipation on April 24, showcasing significant advancements in the automotive industry. Unveiling the Future: A Diverse Product Lineup


XPENG's exhibition presented several innovative vehicle models, including the much-anticipated GX, the MONA M03, the next-generation P7, and the X9. These models embody the company’s commitment to integrating advanced technology into smart electric vehicles (EVs). Notably, XPENG introduced its state-of-the-art humanoid robot, IRON, alongside a pioneering flying car dubbed the “Land Aircraft Carrier.” These groundbreaking innovations underline XPENG’s strategic direction towards a holistic Physical AI ecosystem.

During the event, around 200 media representatives from regions such as Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Americas, the Middle East, and Africa engaged in the Physical AI “Immersive” China Tour hosted by XPENG. This tour provided delegates with firsthand experience of XPENG's intelligent manufacturing facilities and the ARIDGE production base. Attendees were also invited to experience the next evolution in intelligent driving by testing the VLA 2.0 system, reinforcing XPENG's commitment to leading innovation in the automotive sector.

Groundbreaking VLA 2.0 Intelligent Driving System


XPENG's recently launched VLA 2.0 intelligent driving system emerged as a focal point at Auto China 2026. The company released its first comprehensive VLA 2.0 Intelligent Driving Report, which gives insights into performance metrics including user adoption and engagement levels. The results revealed a remarkable 118% upswing in orders for the XPENG Ultra series, with the intelligent driving features interpreted as vital to consumer choices.

A staggering nearly 100,000 consumers experienced in-store demonstrations of VLA 2.0, achieving a satisfaction rate of 98%. Additionally, research demonstrated that the span from test drives to purchasing decisions had shortened by 44.7%, indicating a pivotal transition in perspectives on intelligent driving features from supplementary to essential.

In its ongoing quest for innovation, XPENG disclosed plans to launch new full-scenario capabilities, including features tailored for challenges like low-light conditions and unmarked roads, further enhancing their user-friendly mobility solutions.

A Vision for Future Mobility


Heading the conference, He Xiaopeng, Chairman and CEO of XPENG, elucidated on the pivotal transformations underway. Highlighting the GX, designed for Level 4 autonomous driving, he pointed out its status as the first fully developed and factory-integrated Robotaxi prototype in China, poised for mass-production. With four Turing chips delivering an astounding 3,000 TOPS of computing power, the GX signifies not just a technological triumph, but a new standard in autonomous driving capability.

In the preceding year, XPENG achieved overflow success with over 45,000 units delivered abroad, marking a 96% yearly growth and situating itself as a leading force among Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) enterprises in international markets. Moving forward, XPENG aims to deepen investments in Physical AI technologies and fast-track the rollout of revolutionary products like flying cars and humanoid robotics.
