Experience the Blossoming Season with the New Matcha and Melon Afternoon Tea at RIDE

Celebrate the Beauty of Spring with "Green Garden" Afternoon Tea

From May 1, 2026, RIDE, an all-day dining destination located along the scenic canals of Tennozu, Tokyo, will present a special limited edition afternoon tea called "Green Garden: Matcha and Melon Afternoon Tea." This exquisite event invites guests to savor the changing seasons through a unique tea experience inspired by the theme of enjoying tea time as if gazing upon a beautiful garden.

The afternoon tea features a vibrant selection combining the rich flavors of matcha with the refreshing sweetness of seasonal melons. As the sun filters through lush green leaves, guests can indulge in an array of desserts that showcase both Western and Japanese culinary techniques. Indulge in rich matcha chocolate terrine, mousse cakes infused with pistachio, delicate mini dorayaki, and sesame cookies with brown rice tea cream. Complementing these are delightful creations like refreshing melon parfaits and smooth water dumplings, all perfect for enjoying on RIDE's airy terrace.

Signature Dessert: Matcha and Melon Moss Terrarium Parfait

The centerpiece of the afternoon tea is the stunning "Matcha and Melon Moss Terrarium Parfait." This dessert captures the essence of a miniature garden within a glass, depicting a small oasis of matcha crumble reminiscent of moss, layered with the fruitiness of melon and the subtle bitterness of matcha. The pastry chef has expressed that this creation embodies the serene experience of gazing upon a garden, celebrating the depth of matcha combined with the lightness of melon.

Lavish Savory Selections

Between sweet indulgences, guests can also enjoy exquisite savory dishes. The selections include seasonal items such as semolina-fried eel, truffle-infused dashimaki tamago, and young corn jelly, all reflecting RIDE's commitment to high-quality culinary offerings.
