Bright Innovation's Upcoming Workshop
Bright Innovation, a prominent company within the Envi Group based in Tokyo, is set to host a practical workshop titled
'Preparation for TNFD Disclosure: Scoping Techniques' on August 27 and 28, 2026. This event is tailored for sustainability professionals engaged in preparing for TNFD disclosures.
Background: Tackling the 'Value Chain Assessment' Challenge
As organizations work towards disclosing their environmental impacts in alignment with the TNFD recommendations, they face substantial hurdles in assessing their reliance on and effect on nature throughout their intricate supply and value chains. Numerous companies express uncertainty about where to initiate their evaluations and struggle with the vastness of their value chains, often lamenting that resources are insufficient to tackle such expansive assessments.
The TNFD suggests a structured approach involving defining the objectives and scope of assessment prior to using the LEAP approach for in-depth evaluations. This workshop aims to provide participants with a hands-on experience of this scoping process, allowing them to gain insights that they can subsequently apply within their organizations.
Unique Features of the Workshop
Differing from typical webinar formats, this workshop will take place in-person at the Bright Innovation headquarters located in St. Luke Tower, with an exclusive limit of eight participants per session. This setup fosters a collaborative environment for discussion among attendees and facilitators, enabling them to take away practical insights from their peers and experts.

The workshop itinerary is as follows:
1.
Introductory Remarks (5 mins): Led by Kazuaki Ogisu, CEO of Bright Innovation.

3.
