MoonSwatch Tour: A Unique Experience in Kanazawa

The Swatch brand has teamed up with OMEGA to introduce the exciting "Bioceramic MoonSwatch" collection through a captivating series of events known as the "MoonSwatch Tour." This tour aims to present this extraordinary collection to fans and enthusiasts across Japan. The most recent location for this unique event is the Korinbo Atrio in Kanazawa, a vibrant hub for shopping, art, and culture.

Event Overview

The MoonSwatch Tour at Korinbo Atrio is scheduled for July 5-6, 2025. The venue, located in the heart of Kanazawa, provides an elegant backdrop that reflects the city’s blend of tradition and modernity. Attendees will have the chance to delve deep into the world of MoonSwatch, making this tour not just about shopping, but about experiencing a new lifestyle.

Every model in the Bioceramic MoonSwatch collection carries names inspired by celestial bodies, blending the revolutionary spirit of the OMEGA Speedmaster — the watch that commemorates humanity's historic moon landing — with Swatch's playful creativity. Since its launch in 2022, this collection has captivated hearts globally, making it a must-see for visitors.

Given that these watches are available exclusively at select Swatch stores in Japan and not through online platforms, the MoonSwatch Tour grants fans a unique opportunity to engage with the collection personally and enjoy the thrill of ownership firsthand.

The Journey

To celebrate the synergy between MoonSwatch and automotive excellence, the tour features the iconic FIAT 500, a car that was born the same year as the OMEGA Speedmaster in 1957, as it travels throughout Japan alongside the MoonSwatch collection. Departing from Swatch’s headquarters in Biel, Switzerland, the journey highlights the distinctive locations across Japan, each adding its flair to the MoonSwatch experience.

Event Details:
Date: July 5-6, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM each day
Location: Korinbo Atrio, 1st Floor Special Venue, Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture

Please note that no advance tickets will be distributed. Entry will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Each customer will be limited to purchasing one item per day. While the tour aims to showcase various models, there may be instances where certain featured watches will not be available for purchase. Due to limited stock, once a model is sold out, it will no longer be available, and preferences for particular colors may not always be achievable.

Swatch plans to continue delivering a series of surprises and special events. Keep an eye on Swatch Japan's official social media for the latest updates and announcements.

About the Bioceramic MoonSwatch Collection

The Bioceramic MoonSwatch collection stands as a tribute to the legendary OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch, which was the first watch on the moon, re-envisioned with Swatch's innovative spirit. This collection merges the historical legacy of the Speedmaster with Swatch’s contemporary flair, resulting in a unique fusion that brings celestial charm into everyday timepieces.

Utilizing a special blend of patented Bioceramic material — composed of two-thirds high-end ceramic and one-third bio-sourced material from castor oil — the watches boast a silky matte finish and remarkable durability. This innovative approach not only enhances aesthetics but also prioritizes comfort for wearers.

Since its inception in 1983, Swatch has continually pushed boundaries in the watch industry, producing memorable designs that reflect the pulse of each era. The brand prides itself on delivering surprise and joy through limited releases and special collections while maintaining a strong presence in action sports, art, and music.

As the MoonSwatch Tour makes its way to Kanazawa, don’t miss the chance to immerse yourself in this extraordinary blend of timekeeping, culture, and celestial inspiration.
