EVE Energy and Vimab BESS AB Join Forces to Advance Energy Transition in Europe
On November 19, during the 2025 GENERA International Energy and Environment Fair in Madrid, EVE Energy and Swedish energy storage integrator Vimab BESS AB formalized their partnership with a three-year memorandum of understanding (MoU). This collaboration is aimed at facilitating the deployment of 1.48 GWh in energy storage projects across Northern Europe, a move that supports the ongoing energy transition in the region.
The Nordic region, recognized for its leadership in the global energy transition, is steering towards the adoption of renewable energy sources while meeting stringent carbon emission targets. However, the intermittent nature of wind and solar energy coupled with rising electricity demand presents challenges in balancing supply and demand, leading to price volatility in the energy market. Large-scale energy storage solutions have emerged as a vital component to address these issues.
This partnership signifies a strategic alignment of market needs and technical expertise. Under the terms of the agreement, EVE Energy will serve as a key provider for Vimab BESS AB, supplying high-performance energy storage batteries and corresponding system solutions, along with the necessary technical support. The first batch of orders has already been confirmed for delivery in December, showcasing the strong mutual trust and commitment between both parties for a swift implementation.
Aleksandra Kostic, CEO of Vimab DOO, a subsidiary of Vimab BESS AB, commented, 'The Nordic energy storage market is entering a phase of diversified development and value creation. EVE Energy's technical robustness and delivery capability are precisely what we need. Given our previous collaboration, we greatly value their products and services and look forward to deepening our partnership to unlock regional potential.'
Jimmy Ye, EVE Energy's Director of Sales for Energy Storage in Europe, expressed, 'Vimab BESS AB brings professional project execution capabilities and extensive operational experience. This collaboration is a result of our ongoing cooperation and reflects our shared commitment to leverage complementary strengths to achieve Europe’s green energy goals. We expect to further strengthen local services and contribute significantly to the global energy transition.'
As the demand for reliable energy storage grows, EVE Energy is enhancing its presence in Europe through strategic local alliances. Supported by its German office, the company continues to bolster local sales, engineering, and after-sales service teams, ensuring prompt responses and comprehensive solutions tailored to customer needs. This partnership with Vimab BESS AB exemplifies a key element of EVE Energy’s localization strategy, effectively utilizing local partners’ resources to accurately meet the demands of the European market.
Looking ahead, EVE Energy remains committed to driving product innovation. Through a global manufacturing and service network, the company will collaborate with more partners to advance the global energy transition with efficient, safe, and reliable energy storage solutions.
