Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino Celebrates Grand Opening

The much-anticipated Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino officially opened its doors on February 6, marking a significant milestone for the Seminole Tribe of Florida and the local community. This state-of-the-art facility is located on the Brighton Seminole Reservation, just west of Lake Okeechobee. The grand opening celebration included a special performance by renowned country music artist John Anderson, and culminated with a concert by the legendary rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd, creating an unforgettable experience for all who attended.
A New Landmark in Gaming and Hospitality
The Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino is the first four-star resort in the Lake Okeechobee area and replaces the older Seminole Casino Brighton, which opened in 1980. With nearly 38,000 square feet of gaming space, the casino offers visitors an impressive gaming experience featuring 640 slot machines and 18 tables for popular casino games including blackjack, craps, and roulette. There’s even a smoke-free gaming area, showcasing the commitment to all guests’ comfort.
In addition to gaming, the complex features a hotel with 100 guest rooms spread across four floors.
