Sourcenext's Commitment to Supporting Users Post-Windows 10 Support
As the clock counts down to October 14, 2023, the tech community anticipates the end of support for Windows 10 by Microsoft. However, Sourcenext Inc., based in Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo, has announced that it will maintain support for its products running on Windows 10 for the time being. This decision reflects the company’s understanding of the large user base still relying on Windows 10 and their desire to ensure continued functionality for their software.
In previous instances, Sourcenext's practice was to conclude support for their products concurrently with the end of support for the respective OS. Given the significant number of customers using Windows 10 and Microsoft’s introduction of a paid extended security update (ESU) service—which will include free offerings for qualifying individual users—Sourcenext has opted to extend support for its products compatible with this OS.
Transitioning to Windows 11
To facilitate this transition, Sourcenext has established a dedicated webpage titled "Let’s Get Started! Windows 11 Guide" which will serve as a resource for users considering the move to the latest OS. The latest products eligible for extended support along with additional details about the transition can be found on the website:

Microsoft Support for Windows 10
According to Microsoft, support for Windows 10 is set to conclude on October 14, 2025. Post-termination, users should expect limited access to security updates, although the aforementioned paid ESU offerings will be available. Specific conditions will apply for users to potentially receive this support at no cost (more details can be found on Microsoft’s official site).
Understanding Sourcenext’s Support Policy
Sourcenext commits to providing continued support for its products on Windows 10, even after Microsoft officially ends support. However, it's worth noting that issues directly arising from the operating system may not be addressed. The company strongly advises against continuing to use Windows 10 without the ESU, as this could expose users to significant security risks. The continuation of support is subject to change based on evolving circumstances and may end without prior notice.
