In a remarkable achievement,
13 Gardant-managed communities have been honored with the prestigious
2025 Silver Achievement in Quality Award by the
American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). This award recognizes those who have met high standards in performance and quality, ultimately striving to enhance the lives of residents and staff in long-term care settings.
This award is the second tier within the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program, designed to acknowledge organizations that show progressive quality improvements. As they work towards maintaining and elevating the quality of care, these communities reassert their dedication to service excellence. Among the award recipients are notable communities:
- - Belvedere Senior Housing, Merrillville, Indiana: Tailored for adults aged 55 and older, featuring 126 private apartments.
- - Brookstone Estates of Robinson, Robinson, Illinois: Serving adults 65 and older with 42 private apartments.
- - Brookstone Estates of Vandalia, Vandalia, Illinois: An affordable assisted living community for adults 65 and over, with 46 private apartments.
- - Evergreen Village at Bloomington, Bloomington, Indiana: Designed for adults aged 55 and older, offering 115 private apartments.
- - Heritage Woods of DeKalb, DeKalb, Illinois: An affordable living option for adults 65 and above, featuring 76 apartments.
- - Heritage Woods of Flora, Flora, Illinois: This community includes 52 private apartments for adults aged 65 and older.
- - Heritage Woods of Huntley, Huntley, Illinois: Designed for those aged 55 and older who need assistance, offering 81 private apartments.
- - Heritage Woods of Newburgh, Newburgh, Indiana: Purpose-built for ages 62 and older, featuring 120 private apartments.
- - Heritage Woods of Plainfield, Plainfield, Illinois: Open to adults 65 and older of all income levels needing assistance, with 108 private apartments.
- - Heritage Woods of Sterling, Sterling, Illinois: A community for older adults, featuring both studio and one-bedroom apartments since 2009.
- - John Evans Supportive Living, Pekin, Illinois: Affordable living for adults 65 and older with 76 private apartments.
- - Montclare Supportive Living, Chicago, Illinois: A community for those aged 65 and older, with 120 private apartments.
- - Vivera Senior Living of Columbus, Columbus, Indiana: Catering to adults aged 62 and older, offering 114 private apartments.
These recent awardees join four existing Silver recipients, reaffirming Gardant’s commitment to quality care.

The National Quality Awards will be ceremonially presented at the
AHCA/NCAL Convention Expo during
Delivering Solutions 25, scheduled for October 19-22, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
