Key Case Study

In the third session of this seminar, we will delve into a specific case example, where a heavy additional tax was cancelled. In the decision made on June 3, 2021, the taxpayer originally claimed a loan as a deductible debt, but upon a tax audit, it was adjusted to reflect that no such loan existed. Subsequently, they were subject to heavy additional tax for allegedly creating fictitious debt documents. This adverse ruling was later annulled upon review, serving as a critical learning point for tax strategy.
