Revelation Partners Expands Secondaries Team with Strategic Appointments

Revelation Partners Expands Secondaries Expertise

In a significant move to bolster its secondaries investment team, Revelation Partners, the leading secondaries investment management firm that focuses solely on private healthcare, has appointed Jonathan Au as Partner and Jordan Bloom as Associate. This strategic enhancement aims to deepen the firm’s expertise in secondaries transactions and emphasizes its commitment to providing innovative capital solutions to stakeholders within the private healthcare sector.

Profiles of the New Appointees

Jonathan Au comes on board with an impressive track record of over 15 years in private equity secondaries, specializing in GP-led transactions and structured liquidity solutions. Prior to joining Revelation Partners, Au served as managing director at CVC Secondary Partners, where he played a key role in sourcing, leading, and executing numerous secondary investments. His tenure there was marked by the establishment of strong relationships with over 25 U.S. buyout firms, which led to a substantial deal flow and an enhanced underwriting process.

At CVC, Au led both GP-led and continuation vehicle transactions across diverse sectors, demonstrating his versatility and breadth of knowledge in secondary markets. His previous role at Goldman Sachs as a senior vice president in the AIMS Vintage Strategies department allowed him to lead GP-led and fund restructuring activities within a $45 billion secondaries platform.

Mike Boggs, managing partner at Revelation Partners, expressed enthusiasm for Au’s appointment, stating, “Jonathan is a highly respected leader in the secondaries market with deep experience structuring and executing complex GP-led transactions. His track record of sourcing compelling investment opportunities and building lasting sponsor relationships aligns perfectly with our strategic goals.”

In addition to Au, Jordan Bloom joins Revelation Partners as an associate, bringing strong analytical skills and hands-on experience from her previous role at The Carlyle Group on the AlpInvest Secondaries team, which is a $20 billion platform focused on GP-led and LP-led secondary investments. At Carlyle, Bloom was involved in a variety of secondary transactions, including leading efforts in due diligence and financial modeling for both single-asset and multi-asset GP-led processes.

Boggs commented on Bloom's addition, noting, “Jordan enhances our capabilities with her analytical prowess and experience across various transaction structures, contributing to our mission of delivering effective solutions in a demanding market.”

Bloom's past experience also includes a position as a private equity associate at Audax Group, and she launched her career as an investment banking analyst in the financial institutions group at Jefferies.
