From September 9 to 11, 2025, Bogotá will emerge as a key player in the global sustainability movement by hosting the 2025 International Summit on Sustainability and Environmental Innovation. This significant event is expected to draw more than 30,000 attendees from various countries, showcasing Bogotá's commitment to becoming a leading hub for environmental efforts in Latin America.
The summit, organized by esteemed bodies including the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce (CCB), the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF), and Grupo Prisa, aims to foster collaboration between business leaders, government officials, and civil society in addressing the urgent climate crisis. In light of the current environmental challenges, this summit will be a vital platform for generating innovative solutions and implementing sustainable practices across sectors.

Attendees can look forward to an extensive academic agenda featuring more than 185 sessions across 12 thematic areas. The event will also host several significant forums, including the 6th Meeting of Environmental Authorities and the 3rd Somos Sostenibles Forum, alongside Vitritur 2025, a tourism fair highlighting Colombia's advancements in sustainable tourism and green entrepreneurship.
The United Kingdom has been designated as the guest country of honor, alongside delegations from nations such as Germany, South Korea, the United States, Mexico, and Brazil.
