AlphaDrive x Academist Grant Program Announcement
AlphaDrive, headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, and led by CEO Yoichi Aso, has partnered with Academist, an academic crowdfunding platform based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, to establish the "AlphaDrive x Academist Grant" program. This initiative aims to support researchers with the potential for social implementation of their innovative studies. Four researchers have been selected to receive funding and mentorship through this significant program.
Significance of the Initiative
AlphaDrive operates with the purpose of "Opening Human Potential," continuously supporting technology-driven business development via its R&D Incubation Center. The AlphaDrive x Academist Grant is designed as a new opportunity for researchers, acting as a bridge to connect their potential with social implementation and commercialization. The grant goes beyond just financial assistance; through ongoing discussions and mentoring, it fosters an environment where researchers can explore the pathways to translating their work into tangible solutions. By leveraging the extensive assets, networks, and business development capabilities offered by the AlphaDrive Group, the program pledges a comprehensive 360-degree support to the selected researchers.
By collaborating with Academist, Japan's pioneering academic crowdfunding service, the program aspires to create a new innovation ecosystem where funds, information, and talent circulate. This collaboration will forge a continuous pipeline of new business ventures emerging from academic research initiatives.
