U-GAKU Winter English Camp Overview
In an innovative initiative, Crepity Co., Ltd., headquartered in Tokyo, will host the U-GAKU English Camp from December 26 to December 30, 2026. Tailored for elementary and middle school students, this immersive camp will be conducted in three diverse locations: Cebu Island (Philippines), Okinawa, and Nasu (Tochigi Prefecture). This program serves as a unique opportunity for young learners to enhance their English skills while engaging in a variety of interactive activities.
What is the U-GAKU English Camp?
The U-GAKU English Camp has been held regularly across multiple locations in Japan and abroad, focusing on nurturing both language proficiency and independence in children. By combining English learning with cultural experiences and nature activities, the program promotes a love for the language, allowing children to learn English in a fun and engaging environment. Participants foster an international perspective, a sense of independence, and a desire to learn throughout the course of the camp.
About the 2026 Year-End Event
Previously, the U-GAKU English Camp mainly took place during long school breaks. However, in 2026, the camp will be held for the first time during the winter holidays in Nasu Kogen, a location easily accessible from major urban areas. Over the span of five days, students will participate in collaborative living experiences, English communication, and outdoor winter adventures, all designed to enhance their language skills and personal growth.
With limited enrollment of 15 to 20 participants at each location, students will have the opportunity to live and learn with native English speakers, ensuring that the camp experience is not just about studying but immersing oneself in real-world English usage from morning until night.
This program caters to families looking to provide their children with a long-term experience without missing school, as well as those who may feel apprehensive about sending their children abroad for foreign study but want to challenge them in an English-speaking environment.
