The student organization Bousai-me, located in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, is excited to announce the upcoming disaster preparedness event "BOUSAI ACTION 2025." Scheduled for August 31, 2025, the event will be held at the Open Collaboration Hub LODGE in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Under the theme of "Making Disaster Preparedness Closer and More Fun," this experiential event promises a range of activities designed to engage participants of all ages.

Free Admission for Students and Family Tickets

To encourage more people to engage with disaster preparedness, the event will offer free tickets for students and special family tickets, allowing parents and children to explore together. Bousai-me aims to help attendees see disaster preparedness as an essential part of their lives.

Three Exciting Zones

The event will be divided into three areas:
1. Session Area: A space for learning where various sessions will be held throughout the day. Topics will include current disaster issues in the Noto Peninsula, insights from young innovators and startups in disaster preparedness, and practical actions everyone can take starting tomorrow. Participants can join sessions at their convenience, whether for the full length or a quick visit.
2. Waiwai Area: This fun-filled area will feature games, workshops, and food booths where families can learn about disaster preparedness interactively. Enjoy activities like shooting games, drawing prizes, and tasting local foods offered by food partner "Kikkake Shokudo," which focuses on making food preparation relatable to disaster scenarios.
3. Exhibition Area: A unique opportunity to engage with the latest disaster preparedness technology and products from various companies. Visitors can browse booths freely, discover valuable resources, and engage with representatives to learn how they can better prepare themselves for emergencies.

Collaboration with BuzzyFes 2025

The event is also linked with the upcoming music festival "BuzzyFes 2025," scheduled for September 1, allowing participants to immerse themselves in a weekend of learning and entertainment. This collaboration emphasizes the innovative integration of disaster preparedness into enjoyable activities.
