Advanced Features of SUYUAN



SUYUAN is equipped with 38 Degrees of Freedom (DoF) and boasts a computational power of 275 TOPS (Tera Operations per Second). This remarkable specification allows the robot to perform precise operations and dynamic movements, making it adaptable for a variety of industrial applications. Standing at 167 cm tall and weighing 50 kg, SUYUAN is designed for seamless mobility within complex industrial environments. The advanced joint articulation gives SUYUAN exceptional agility, enabling both delicate handling and broad movements.

With the capability to lift loads of up to 10 kg and manipulate objects weighing 2 kg with one hand, SUYUAN excels in logistics and assembly tasks, operating with an effective speed of 5 km/h. This makes it a highly efficient solution for various operational needs.

Technology Behind SUYUAN



The autonomous movement of SUYUAN integrates binocularity and LiDAR technologies, which enhance its environmental awareness. Its powerful AI processor, capable of handling 275 TOPS, facilitates immediate data analysis and the integration of large language models (LLM), allowing for natural task interpretation and adaptive manipulation.

During pilot testing, SUYUAN demonstrated its ability to autonomously identify, locate, grip, and relocate boxes of varying sizes using advanced computer vision and synchronized joint control. This efficiency markedly enhances the productivity of warehouse operations, showcasing SUYUAN's potential to transform industrial workflows.

A Look at Other Innovations



At the WAIC 2025, Shanghai Electric also presented the LINGKE, a dual-arm robot that effectively tackles complex manufacturing tasks with high precision. This robot not only replaces human labor but also enhances efficiency by up to five times through its adaptive control, which alleviates workers from repetitive tasks. The Data-Model-Deployment technology embedded in LINGKE allows it to create self-optimizing workflows that learn from operational data, shifting from a passive executor to an active learner.

Collaborations for Future Development



Shanghai Electric's collaboration with Johnson Electric introduced revolutionary humanoid robots along with crucial hardware modules that expand system integration solutions. The array of rotary and linear joints, along with dexterous finger joints developed by this partnership, ensures a seamless, quiet, and intelligent movement of next-generation robots.

Additionally, partnerships were strengthened during the event, leading to initial supply agreements with the National and Local Joint Innovation Center for Humanoid Robotics and collaborative product development with Fourier Robotics. With 189 patent applications, of which 120 are granted in the realm of humanoid robotics, Shanghai Electric is making significant strides in AI-based industrial innovation.
