Cruise Planners to Host Innovative CP World 2025 Convention with Tech Enhancements

The 2025 CP World convention, organized by Cruise Planners, is set to usher in a new era of innovation and collaboration within the travel advisor community. As the largest franchise network of home-based travel agents in the United States, Cruise Planners continues to elevate the travel industry. This year’s engaging theme, "Rock On," aims not only to celebrate the achievements of travel advisors but also to spotlight crucial elements such as marketing, technology, training, support, and community—cornerstones that propel franchise success.

Scheduled in Fort Lauderdale, the event has attracted over 1,200 participants, including franchise owners and supplier partners from 160 different travel companies. The convention opened with a dynamic six-day program that features dedicated sessions from industry experts, extensive networking opportunities, and the highly anticipated Cruise Line Executive Panel, featuring representatives from eight leading cruise lines.

One of the main highlights will be the introduction of several innovative initiatives designed to enhance travel advisors’ operational efficiency and client servicing capabilities. Among these is the AI Confirmation Import Tool, which allows travel advisors to import confirmation emails directly into CP Maxx, simplifying the process of managing reservations and improving accuracy in pricing and commission details.

Another notable enhancement is the AI Cruise Search feature. This powerful tool allows advisors to conduct cruise searches using natural language, making the process faster and more intuitive. This upgrade promises to revolutionize how travel advisors find and book cruises for their clients, further positioning Cruise Planners as a leader in travel industry technology.

In addition to new technological tools, Cruise Planners introduces the revamped Trip Summary 3.0. This tool boasts a modern and user-friendly interface, making it easier for advisors to compare various travel components such as cruise tours, flights, and train itineraries, all from one convenient platform.

Recognizing the allure of romance travel, Cruise Planners is also launching a new brochure, "Timeless Romance", aimed at couples looking to plan honeymoons, anniversaries, and romantic getaways. This move aims to position advisors as experts in the niche market of romance travel planning.

The convention also promises exciting new updates to advisor websites that align with the improved corporate site’s aesthetics, with features including animations, streamlined navigation, and better access to special offers and travel content. Additionally, Cruise Planners will unveil Maxx Media, a new hub within the CP Maxx CRM system designed to centralize and simplify the management of advisors' marketing assets, making it easier to create promotional materials across different platforms.

For advisors eager to hone their skills, the CP Genie Learning suite offers comprehensive training programs that will soon feature two new specialties: the Expedition Specialist training, which focuses on guiding clients toward extraordinary travel experiences, and the Luxury Specialist training, which assists advisors in crafting bespoke luxury travel itineraries.
