Starting in January 2026, Takara will introduce a new event called "Wagakki Collaboration Day". This monthly event will highlight the harmonious blend of traditional Japanese instruments and culinary traditions, inviting guests to enjoy the beauty of Japanese music while savoring local dishes and sake.

The events will be held on January 17, February 21, and March 21, 2026, featuring renowned student musicians from Waseda University and Meiji University. Each performance will last for approximately 30 minutes, beginning at 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM consecutively.

This initiative aims to offer patrons a rich cultural experience, showcasing the essence of Japanese heritage through music and culinary art. The musical performances will include various folk songs and beloved tunes that reflect the spirit of the seasons, amplified by sounds from the shamisen and koto, which will enhance the ambiance of the restaurant.

The collaboration with SEION, a company specializing in traditional Japanese instrument rentals and maintenance, ensures that every performance is authentic and engaging, bringing to life the sounds that have been cherished across generations in Japan.
