Huawei's AI Solutions to Revolutionize Global Finance at MWC 2026

Huawei's AI Solutions to Transform Global Finance

In recent times, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the finance sector has become increasingly crucial. During the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona 2026, Huawei hosted a session entitled "Powering Resilient Intelligence, Co-creating Finance Future,” where they unveiled their latest advancements in AI banking solutions.

Huawei's CEO of Digital Finance, Jason Cao, emphasized the need for banks to enhance their resilience amidst an unpredictable global economy. Through multifaceted strategies, banks can ensure effective systems redundancy, implement robust cybersecurity measures against threats, and build a solid foundation to transition swiftly into the AI era.

Alvin Feng, the President of Huawei Digital Finance International, delivered an insightful speech titled “Beyond Digital Towards AI-Infused Finance,” highlighting the profound transformations traditional banks undergo as they shift towards AI-driven operations. This transition not only alters how banks interact with clientele but also enhances decision-making processes and redefines customer experience. To facilitate this transformation, banks must adopt a cohesive strategy that aligns their business objectives with technological innovations.

Leveraging its extensive global experience with leading financial institutions, Huawei has developed the Intelligent Finance Value Implementer. This structured approach assists banks in selecting appropriate scenarios, building corporate architecture, and deploying AI systems, eventually leading them to construct both digital and AI-capable infrastructures. As technology evolves, it is clear it has progressed from merely supporting functions to becoming a core component of business value.

Feng further elaborated that the essence of AI in banking lies in unifying AI infrastructure through systems engineering, allowing collaboration between human intelligence and machine learning. To this end, Huawei has significantly upgraded its AI banking solutions and foundational models.

The latest offerings from Huawei include SuperPoD, AI Data Platform, and Xinghe AI Network, designed to bolster the resilience of financial clients' infrastructure in both general and AI computing. With end-to-end capabilities in intelligent operations and maintenance, specialized model tuning, agent development, and scenario design, Huawei has minimized agent development cycles to mere weeks, improved rapid response accuracy by 10%, and decreased end-to-end latency by over 60%.

Moreover, the RongHai program now encompasses more than 150 solution partners and over 11,000 global consulting, sales, service, and integration partners. This expansive ecosystem is crucial for pioneering solutions in customer operations, risk management, and automation, fostering innovative collaboration with financial institutions in every imaginable scenario.

Looking ahead, Huawei remains steadfast in its commitment to continuous innovation, assisting global financial institutions in constructing smart, autonomous, and resilient digital infrastructures. By leveraging an open ecosystem alongside advanced systems engineering capabilities, Huawei aims to facilitate the seamless integration of AI into core financial operations.
