Armed Forces Bank Partners with Hope For The Warriors to Support Military Families

In a heartwarming initiative, Armed Forces Bank has officially partnered with Hope For The Warriors to enhance its 'Heroes Round Up' program, designed to provide vital support for veterans, military personnel, and their families. This collaboration not only shows the bank's commitment to the military community but also offers clients an effortless way to contribute to meaningful causes with their everyday purchases.

Founded in 1907, Armed Forces Bank has a long history of serving those who serve. The 'Heroes Round Up' program allows clients to round up their debit card purchases to the nearest dollar, with the extra change allocated to support selected military-related nonprofit organizations, such as Hope For The Warriors. This initiative simplifies the donation process, making it accessible for everyone.

Since its inception in May 2025, the Heroes Round Up has continually expanded its outreach, currently incorporating multiple nonprofit partners. With each addition, the program enhances how clients can positively impact the lives of service members and their families.

“Bringing Hope For The Warriors into the Heroes Round Up family is a proud moment for us,” stated Tom McLean, Senior Vice President and Military Regional Executive of Armed Forces Bank. “This partnership merges the generosity of our clients with a significant mission that enhances lives in the military community.”

Celebrating two decades of impactful service, Hope For The Warriors (HOPE) specializes in assisting those who have served post-9/11 by providing various resources, including critical needs assistance, career coaching, mental health support, and opportunities to foster community connections through physical activities.

Recognized for their financial responsibility, HOPE allocates over 90% of all funds raised directly to programs and services. Notably, they have maintained a prestigious four-star rating from Charity Navigator and have received top accolades on platforms like GuideStar and Great Nonprofits for eleven consecutive years.

Participating in the Heroes Round Up is straightforward. New or existing clients can easily opt into the program by following these simple steps:
1. Open a checking account and enroll in online banking.
2. Navigate to the 'Services' section and find 'Heroes Round Up.'
3. Choose a military nonprofit to support and select a preferred rounding increment of either $1 or $5.

Once enrolled, Armed Forces Bank will handle all aspects of the donation process, automatically directing rounded-up contributions to the chosen nonprofit, including Hope For The Warriors. Clients also have the option to establish monthly recurring donations to further amplify their commitment to supporting military families.

“We deeply appreciate the support from Armed Forces Bank and its clients for helping to elevate awareness around the ever-evolving challenges faced by military families,” expressed Robin Kelleher, co-founder and CEO of Hope For The Warriors. “Through Heroes Round Up, everyday acts of kindness can forge meaningful change and connect military members with the resources they need.”
