Plenus, headquartered in Ginza, Chuo City, is actively participating in the exhibition titled "Connecting Japanese Food Culture through Rice" held at the Gas Museum in Kodaira City, Tokyo. This initiative is part of Plenus's ongoing efforts to preserve and pass on the rich culture of rice consumption in Japan, which is integral to the nation’s culinary identity. The exhibition runs until December 25, 2025, highlighting various aspects of rice culture and the different cooking methods associated with it.
About the Exhibition
The exhibition is organized in celebration of the 140th anniversary of the Tokyo Gas Group. It showcases over a century of the history of gas cooking, starting from the invention of the gas stove (瓦斯竈) in 1902. Plenus's contribution centers around the theme of the history of rice cooking methods, emphasizing Japan's unique bento culture and the historical importance of rice.

Screening of "The Story of Rice"

"Rice Taste Challenge"
