The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is hosting an engaging job fair on October 17-18 at the Tokyo Dome City Prism Hall, featuring approximately 110 companies from the environment and care industries. This event aims to address the challenges of recruiting talent in sectors dedicated to sustainability and elder care. Organized in collaboration with the Tokyo Work Foundation, the fair emphasizes the matching of job seekers with companies committed to promoting a sustainable society through initiatives like decarbonization and environmental conservation in the face of Japan's aging population.

What to Expect at the Fair



The Environment and Care Industry Job Fair provides an invaluable opportunity for individuals seeking stable employment in dynamic areas that directly impact society. If you are eager to thrive in a new industry while contributing positively to the community, this event is designed for you. Participants can engage directly with representatives from companies focused on renewable energy, climate change mitigation, and elder care support, including facilities and services catering to aging residents.

The event will unfold over two days, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at 6:00 PM, with registration starting at 10:30 AM each day. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to take advantage of all the opportunities available.

Participating Companies



The fair will include about 110 companies, with roughly 55 exhibiting each day, covering:
  • - Environment Sector: Companies involved in initiatives such as climate change actions and natural environment conservation. Participants will include firms engaged in eco-friendly practices and those certified by various environmental standards.
  • - Care Sector: Organizations running nursing homes, producing care equipment, and offering home care services.
