On February 10, 2026, the Fukuoka City will host a notable symposium titled
“Unlocking New Markets and Business Value Through Inclusive Design,” organized by the Kyushu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry, in collaboration with the Kyushu Intellectual Property Utilization Promotion Council and the Kyushu SDGs Management Promotion Forum. Keita Takizawa, the CEO of PLAYWORKS, will take center stage to deliver a keynote speech on this important topic.
The event is aimed at redefining
inclusive design from the perspective of growth strategy and enhancing corporate value. It will not only feature a keynote address and panel discussions but also provide opportunities for attendees to engage directly with products from companies that are implementing inclusive design practices. About Keita Takizawa
Keita Takizawa is the founder and CEO of PLAYWORKS, an inclusive design consulting firm based in Tokyo. After completing his university education, he gained experience in various sectors, including design offices and ad agencies. In 2024, he participated in an event hosted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, focusing on the theme of co-creation leading to new value creation through inclusive design. In addition, he contributes to academia as a part-time lecturer at Kyushu University and Tsukuba University, and leads workshops at Aoyama Gakuin University.
