Huawei Connect Europe 2025: A Vision for a Greener Future
On November 4th, 2025, Madrid played host to the 10th edition of Huawei Connect Europe, a significant event where technical experts, industry leaders, and Huawei partners gathered to discuss ways to expedite digital and green transitions in Europe. The event's theme, "All Intelligence, a Greener Europe," encapsulated the essence of the discussions.
David Wang, the Executive Director of Huawei's Board, shared his insights on the pressing need for intelligent technologies. He stated, "The intelligent world is arriving faster than we ever imagined. Technologies like AI, 5G, and green energy will revolutionize education, healthcare, finance, and manufacturing. These advancements promise to create an abundance of growth opportunities by transforming business logic, service models, and entire value chains. Within just five years, AI alone is projected to contribute $22.3 trillion to the global economy."
Wang emphasized the importance of the upcoming decade for Europe’s dual transition towards a sustainable future, reaffirming Huawei's commitment to remaining "in Europe, for Europe". The company is dedicated to fostering innovation locally via a robust network of R&D centers, innovation labs, manufacturing bases, and supply chain centers, aiding European clients in their digital and ecological shifts. Together with its European partners, Huawei is focused on transforming this shared vision into sustainable growth opportunities, aiming for a smarter and greener Europe.
Leo Chen, Senior Vice President and President of Enterprise Sales at Huawei, echoed this sentiment, stating, "We are dedicated to supporting the continent's intelligent digital transformation by investing in technological innovation, partner ecosystems, and talent development. Together, we can build a smarter and more sustainable Europe." He highlighted the launch of Huawei’s flagship products and solutions tailored for the European market, which are designed to assist businesses in constructing their digital infrastructures.
Among the notable innovations introduced was the HUAWEI eKit 4+10+N SME Intelligence solution, aimed at enhancing four key scenarios: smart offices, intelligent enterprises, smart education, and smart healthcare. These solutions are intended to facilitate the adoption of new technologies by SMEs, thus powering the final mile of the intelligent world.
In terms of partner ecosystems, Huawei announced SHAPE 2.0, an enhanced version of its partnership framework designed to improve collaboration with local partners across Europe. An alliance development plan was also introduced, enabling distribution partners to better deliver scenario-based solutions and services to their clients.
Huawei has also been proactive in talent development, collaborating with universities and local partners to cultivate skills and create value for communities through its ICT Academies, joint labs, and certification programs.
