Scannet Inc. at EDIX 2026: A Leap Towards Efficient Grading

Scannet Inc., a leader in the development and distribution of digital grading systems, is set to present its innovative solutions at the 17th EDIX (Educational Comprehensive Exhibition) in Tokyo, taking place from May 13 to 15, 2026 at Tokyo Big Sight. This exhibition is renowned as Japan’s largest event dedicated to education, catering to professionals from schools, educational institutions, and corporate training departments. Scannet’s participation this year will mark its 15th appearance, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing educational efficiency.

Introduction of Advanced Features

At this year’s EDIX, Scannet will unveil its highly anticipated updates to the DigiRaku Grading Cloud System, a digital grading solution capable of recognizing handwritten characters automatically. This system is designed not only to streamline grading efficiencies but also significantly reduce the time educators spend on evaluations. Among the noteworthy advancements being introduced are:
  • - Automated Registration Settings: Users can complete their registration by merely uploading model answers.
  • - Enhanced Handwritten Character Recognition: The accuracy of recognizing single-character Hiragana and basic symbols has improved by approximately 10% compared to previous versions.
  • - Report Grading Assist Function: A new tool to support the assessment of written responses.

These features are part of a revised version that Scannet plans to roll out in trial editions following the exhibition. Attendees will have the opportunity to see real-time demonstrations of the system's unique capabilities and its user-friendly interface.

Showcase of Comprehensive Solutions

Alongside the DigiRaku Grading Cloud, Scannet will also showcase other key products, including the DigiRaku Grading System for Standard Paper and a cloud-compatible mark sheet system tailored for various assessments like university entrance exams and classroom evaluation surveys. Visitors to the Scannet booth can also learn about outsourcing services related to grading and assessments. The dedicated team will be onsite to provide product explanations, and attendees will be able to sign up for a free trial of the systems being demonstrated.
